The round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar won by the United States earned the team a prize of 13 million dollars, but they also made the women's team happy. In fact, according to the agreement reached at the beginning of the year for equal pay, this prize, as well as any subsequent ones, will be divided equally between the men's and women's teams.
Rapinoe and Morgan's team therefore currently collects 6.5 million euros, a figure higher than that received for the last two World Cups won (2 for the success in Canada in 2015 and 4 for the one in France in 2019) which show how there is a huge difference within FIFA itself on the prizes of the two competitions.
