According to Reuters, Qatar has called hundreds of civilians for compulsory military service operating at security checks in World Cup stadiums. This decision highlights the problems of the small state of Qatar to cope with the World Cup. Their job will be to ensure stadium safety, search fans and avoid alcohol, guns and anything else that could create danger. All of them are training five times a week and there are diplomatic representatives among them.

All this for an upcoming world cup, one of a kind. One of the possible changes will also be the possibility of easing the laws regarding the use of alcohol that is banned in the country, and which should instead be made available to fans.
