New York City FC newcomer Richy Ledezma also made his debut against the Houston Dynamo

“It's difficult for him but he comes in and shows he has quality,” said Nick Cushing.

“He hasn't trained enough with us to know how to play, where to play and we are chasing the match. It's hard for him to have any kind of influence in the game. He was with us one day. You can see the quality of him, you can see the flashes of quality he has, but he went into a game when they had a flat five back and a four up front, so it's tough for our guys, but we need to find the opening".
