NYCFC has fate in its own hands.
A big win against Miami in our last group round may not even be enough to guarantee one of the four qualifying points in third place out of the six groups, but it is the minimum required if we want to have the chance to stay the tournament.
Both Miami and NYCFC have yet to accumulate a point, so they will participate in this game knowing that it is now or never if they wish to stay in Orlando to compete for the trophy, turning this game into a regular season and basically a knockout game.
