Maxime Chanot isn't worried about New York City FC's poor start to the season: "The way the players live together is just amazing," said the defender.

“This year, I think we have kept the legacy of the last few years, nothing has changed. Many players have left the club, we all know that, and new ones have joined... but nothing else has changed.

“The results right now are not that bad. We only lost two games and the first was an opening game in Nashville, which is always a tough game.

“You've seen the last six games – we've only lost one game. I can understand some people being dubious about the results, but I'm very positive about the effort we've made for each other and the way we play.

“Now, we have two home games, and if we get six points after these games, we will be in a very good situation.

"I can tell you right away: We have a really nice atmosphere, everyone is sticking to the game plan, and we're just happy to be there, defending the NYCFC logo."
