Al Khelaifi on the Super League: "I'm sad for them. They've shown they don't understand football"

Nasser Al Khelaifi, president of PSG, spoke about the Super League in a long interview with Marca: "The truth is that I'm sad for them because they have repeatedly shown that they don't understand football and its ecosystem. Football is not a contract legal, it's a social contract. When fans protested in the streets the moment the Superlega project was launched, they weren't screaming about legal commitments. Football is a bond between club and players, between players and fans, between fans and community and that will never change."
