USMNT, the victory is missed

A point earned? More than anything else it was a missed victory, which escaped due to some mistakes made by the team and the return of Wales in the second half which put the national team in difficulty.

The first half was well played, in fact there was only the USMNT on the field. Wales was never able to attack, they never made themselves dangerous because Berhalter's team pressed high, a very dynamic and fast team. The mistake was not making the most of all the opportunities created.

In the second half Wales entered the field with a different attitude. The USMNT seems to have gotten a little bit by surprise and suffered from the flurries and attacks of the Welsh. Also in this case, the mistake made was not to take advantage of the opportunities created, especially in the restarts, which could have allowed the team to obtain three precious points against the team with which it will compete for second place in the group.
