New York City FC will be strongly represented during the September international window, with eight First Team players and two NYCFC II players receiving call-ups.

Matt Freese will remain in the U.S. with the USMNT, playing high-profile friendlies vs. Korea (Sept 6, Harrison, NJ) and Japan (Sept 9, Columbus, OH).

Alonso Martínez joins Costa Rica for matches against Nicaragua (Sept 5) and another fixture on Sept 9.

Aiden O’Neill heads to the Australia squad, facing New Zealand in Canberra (Sept 5) and Auckland (Sept 9).

Tomas Romero will represent El Salvador in World Cup qualifiers against Guatemala (Sept 4) and Suriname (Sept 8).

Youth Stars Making Their Mark

NYCFC is also heavily represented at the youth level:

Andrew Baiera has been called into the U.S. U-19 training camp in Atlanta (Sept 1–8).

Máximo Carrizo joins the U.S. U-17s for a camp in the Netherlands, with matches vs. the Dutch on Sept 5 and 8.

Mitja Ilenič will line up with Slovenia U-21s in a key European Championship qualifier against Norway (Sept 9, Drammen).

Jonny Shore, just 18, links up with the U.S. U-20s for a camp featuring two friendlies against Morocco (Sept 5, 7).

NYCFC II Players Also Called Up

The international recognition extends to NYCFC II:

Adonis Campos was selected for the El Salvador U-17s for an extended camp.

Peter Molinari will represent the U.S. U-17s at a domestic ID camp in Fayetteville, Georgia.
