The New York Knicks are no longer simply winning basketball games. They are dismantling opponents with the confidence, composure and ruthlessness of a true championship contender.

On a hostile night inside Rocket Arena that eventually sounded more like Madison Square Garden, the Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, extending their historic playoff winning streak to ten consecutive games and taking a commanding 3-0 series lead.

No NBA team has ever recovered from a 3-0 deficit in playoff history.

That reality now hangs heavily over Cleveland.

Meanwhile, New York stands just one victory away from its first NBA Finals appearance since 1999 — and based on the way this series has unfolded, the Knicks suddenly look unstoppable.

New York overwhelms Cleveland again with complete team basketball

From the opening minutes, the Knicks controlled the tone of the game.

Mikal Bridges immediately sparked New York’s energy with another defensive play that led to early points, while the Cavaliers once again struggled to handle the Knicks’ pace, ball movement and defensive pressure.

The visitors played with incredible balance offensively. Multiple starters contributed immediately, the spacing remained excellent and Cleveland constantly looked one step behind trying to contain New York’s attack.

Even when the Cavaliers attempted to respond by attacking the paint and increasing physicality, the Knicks never appeared rattled.

Karl-Anthony Towns adapted quickly when Cleveland disrupted New York’s point-center offense, using his size and touch to score efficiently instead of forcing difficult passes. Meanwhile, the Knicks’ role players continued making massive contributions.

Landry Shamet once again delivered huge perimeter shooting, stretching Cleveland’s defense every time the Cavaliers threatened to build momentum.

The most impressive aspect of New York’s performance, however, may have been its composure.

Every time Cleveland cut the deficit, the Knicks answered immediately.

Brunson, Bridges and Shamet push the Knicks to the brink of the Finals

As expected, Jalen Brunson eventually took complete control of the game.

The Knicks captain finished with 30 points and repeatedly punished Cleveland in isolation situations, especially late in quarters when the Cavaliers desperately needed defensive stops. Brunson’s ability to control tempo, create shots and remain calm under pressure has completely transformed New York into a legitimate title threat.

Bridges was equally devastating.

After his inconsistent opening-round performances earlier in the postseason, the versatile wing has become one of the Knicks’ most efficient and reliable players. He attacked the rim aggressively, finished in transition and continued his remarkable shooting stretch throughout the playoffs.

Defensively, New York suffocated Cleveland at key moments.

Josh Hart brought relentless energy, OG Anunoby quietly dominated once again on both ends, and the Cavaliers repeatedly hurt themselves with turnovers, missed free throws and poor late-game execution.

Cleveland simply could not sustain enough offense to seriously threaten New York down the stretch.

Even when Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley attempted to spark a comeback, the Knicks answered with huge three-pointers, transition baskets and suffocating defense.

By the final minutes, the atmosphere inside Rocket Arena had completely shifted.

Large sections of the crowd headed toward the exits while chants of “Let’s Go Knicks” echoed throughout the arena. Brunson even received MVP chants on the road — a surreal scene that perfectly captured the dominance New York has established in this series.

The Knicks are now one win away from ending a 26-year NBA Finals drought.

And at this point, they do not just look like a team capable of reaching the Finals.

They look like a team capable of winning everything.
