NYCFC, Alfredo Morales: "I'm very motivated"

Alfredo Morales has clear ideas about his future with New York City FC and the current season.

"My motivation is huge," he said. “I am so excited to be back on the pitch, feeling good and playing. Houston was my first start since late August last year — seven months. With the low season, it took a long time, but I felt very good physically"

However, the best form is yet to come as Morales confirms:

“It's all about gaining minutes. I need to find my rhythm, I need my timing in certain situations, especially against the ball. I need reps with the ball – we have those reps in training, but minutes in the game are much more valuable. I'm just trying to get back to 100%. I think I'm on the right track. I'm not worried, I feel great and we'll see what the future brings"

Morales appears very determined:

“My motivation is as always. I am always very positive and very motivated, but of course, I want to be in the future as much as possible. I want to be part of this team off the pitch as well and I want to be successful with the lads. That's what I try to achieve, and that's what I work towards every single day."
