After the round victory against Iran, England coach Gareth Southgate commented on the Three Lions' 6-2 victory on the BBC: "Our movements were good, despite the fact that there were several interruptions in the first half. We shouldn't have concede those two goals, but we will have to be ready to play with the United States. We will have to do more. We played 24 minutes of added time, then the mistakes are given by the result. We have good players and today they gave their best, but if we play at a slow pace we don't do well. Our forwards were a threat throughout the game. The midfield was excellent. It was a good sign. I especially liked Grealish's goal, because Wilson was selfless and thought to the team".
