In the 0-0 draw with Nashville SC, Luighi showed intelligent movement and good chemistry with Bénie Traoré.

One of NYCFC’s best first-half chances came when Traoré broke down the right and looked for Luighi at the far post. The Brazilian reached the ball but could not direct his effort on target.
