Lee: "We just have to thank Tinnerholm for what he has done for us"

Commenting on Anton Tinnerholm's departure from New York City FC, David Lee expressed his thoughts and talked about the details of Anton's departure from the Blues: "Anton Tinnerholm was a fantastic player for us, he was important in the dressing room, a player with character. Unfortunately, he was out with his Achilles tendon injury at the end of 2021. He returned in 2022 and has been complicated, from our point of view as we could consider him. When the opportunity arose for him to return close to home, with his wife and children, the security of a long-term contract, it was difficult for us, we are not we were able to keep him at the club and we just have to thank him for what he has done for us, for NYCFC and for everything the club has given when he has been with us".
