David Lee: "Anton will always be a part of the NYCFC"

New York City FC athletic director David Lee spoke about Tinnerholm's departure:

“Anton has been an incredible professional throughout his time here in New York and we have seen his tremendous growth both personally and professionally over the past 5 years. He made an immediate impact both on the pitch with his fantastic performances and off the pitch with his leadership and infectious personality. He quickly became one of the best defenders in MLS and we wouldn't have achieved the successes we have without his input. We are incredibly grateful for all that he has given to the Club and understand his desire to come home and be closer to family. Anton will always be a part of the NYCFC and will be remembered as one of the best players to ever play for our club. I would like to wish Anton and his family the very best in his next adventure and beyond.”
