New York City Football Club announced that it has signed Midfielder Jonathan ‘Jonny’ Shore to a Homegrown Contract through 2027 with an option for 2028.
The 15-year-old becomes the eleventh Homegrown signing in Club history since the Academy formed in 2015.
Born and raised in New York City, Shore joined NYCFC Academy in 2017 at the age of 10 from Manhattan Kickers and has progressed through the various age groups. A regular fixture for the Club’s U17 Academy team, the young American made his MLS NEXT Pro debut last season making two appearances for NYCFC II.
