New York City Football Club can today announce that it has traded forward Héber to the Seattle Sounders in exchange for up to $550K in General Allocation Money (GAM).    

The Club will receive a guaranteed $400,000, with $200,000 in 2023 GAM and $200,000 in 2024 GAM, with an additional $150,000 if certain performance-based incentives are met.      

The Brazilian joined NYCFC in 2019 from Croatian side HNK Rijeka. He has played 90 games for NYCFC, tallying 4,423 minutes across numerous competitions scoring 30 goals, and recording seven assists. His blend of goalscoring abilities, charisma and bright smile made him beloved by fans and teammates alike.
