New York City FC, good performance but bitter result for the Blues

There was great anticipation for New York City FC's new season. For the first time, the Blues were starting the new MLS season after winning the championship last season. The expectations for the debut of Ronny Deila's team were very high and against the LA Galaxy the Blues started the game in the right way.

The energy expressed by the team, which however failed to score, allowed New York to be superior to the opponents. Unfortunately, however, for the Pigeons in the final came the sensational mockery. Balcazar froze New York with the goal that allowed the Galaxy to win the game.

A bitter start for New York in terms of results but not performance. Deila's team would have deserved much more but unfortunately came out of this match with a defeat that now must not leave any dangerous aftermath. We are only at the beginning of the season, there is time to recover.
