Cushing: "We are young but we have shown that we know how to suffer"

New York City FC triumphs at Citi Field against Nashville SC thanks to goals by Maxime Chanot and Keaton Parks. Nick Cushing is clearly pleased with the Blues' return to success:

"Nashville is a very disciplined team defensively," said the coach. "They are the best in MLS and this is also confirmed by the statistics. We knew what kind of work we had to do to get the better of it. Everything went well in the first half, we controlled the spaces preventing them from controlling us. The regret is that we could definitely score more goals, we had to secure victory before their goal"
