Gerard Piquè has announced his retirement. After having won everything with Barcelona, including three Champions League, a World Cup with and a European Cup with Spain, Piquè retires at 35.

It was the player himself who announced it with a video on social networks: "This Saturday will be my last game at Camp Nou."

“It is the moment to end this stage of my life,” Pique said. "I always said that after Barcelona there will be no other club, and that is the way it is going to be."

In the past there have been many rumors about Pique's possible transfer to MLS. The Spanish defender has instead decided to retire from football. Probably in the future he will return to Barcelona as club president.
