The Obi Toppin we saw last season already seems to be almost an old memory. Against Indiana we finally saw a formidable player who is a real pleasure to see him play.

Toppin scored 24 points, but the five wonderful dunks stand out, the most important points he scored and which allowed the Knicks to win the second game of the pre-season.

Not just dunks and three-point shots. Toppin also showed off for defense, stopping Kendall Brown’s three-point attempt from the free-throw line.

Toppin talked about this after the game against the Pacers:

“I have been working hard on my defense this year by protecting several positions not only four and five, but also being able to defend the guards. I will continue to work on it and incorporate myself throughout the season”.
