Griezmann's soap opera seems to have come to an end. In fact, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid have reached an agreement.

Barcelona have now agreed to accept a reduced payment of 25 million euros from Atlético de Madrid for the definitive transfer of Griezmann. The colchoneros are apparently happy to pay that amount instead of the previously agreed €40m.

With the agreement said to be close, Diego Simeone could use Griezmann normally and no longer regulate his minutes. The 31-year-old has been in fine form despite reduced playing time and will appreciate the chance to play more regularly.

However, the fate of the Frenchman seems to be far from Atletico and also from Europe. According to reports, the player would be happy to join the MLS. Griezmann follows the US world very carefully, is passionate about the NFL and NBA and would gladly accept a transfer to the MLS.

Among the teams most interested are Inter Miami, LAFC and even NYCFC, mainly thanks to the good impressions the player has had from David Villa.
