NYRB, Armas on NYCFC: 'Facing These Guys, Always a Great Challenge'

Head Coach Chris Armas spoke with media after training on Tuesday and talked about how fun the matches against NYCFC are, due to the all the challenges they present. 

“New York City has a deep squad and they always have a plan that counteracts what we are trying to do on the day,” Armas said. “It is always a fun one at Yankee Stadium against New York City.”

”I think it is always important to reset every time you play a game, and then every time you play an opponent that you know well,” Armas said. “If that is the case then it is all level, it is a new game for each of us, they are starting fresh and they are 10-0-2 at home, so you know they know how to play in their building, a lot of confidence, they understand what it is going to be like in the Derby matches.”
