Krisztian Nemeth’s season has gotten off to an uneven start. Currently the center of transfer rumors, the Revolution forward has seen just 20 minutes of action through two weeks of play. And now, he’ll need to wait at least one more week to find his form.

Nemeth earned a call up to the Hungarian National Team on Friday and will head overseas for a pair of friendlies: one on March 23 against Kazakhstan, and another on March 27 against Hungary. That means he’ll miss the Revolution’s next match against NYCFC on March 24.

Nemeth last appeared for Hungary in November 2017, when he made two appearances during two early winter friendlies. He owns 32 career caps and has scored three goals in his international career.

Since joining the Revs last fall, the Gyor, Hungary native has made three starts, logging a goal and an assist.
