NYCFC unbeaten but must improve

At the end the draw is more than good for NYCFC. Patrick Vieira said before the match that the one against NER would have been a very complicated GAME, and so it was. NER started with a pressing high, which put in great difficulty the City, which for most of the game was literally crushed by the adversary. Even more difficult game without David Villa and Alexander Ring who got injured at the last minute. A suffering match for the City but managed to react to the double disadvantage thanks to Tajouri, without a doubt the man of the match.

As Vieira said after the game, there is still a lot of work to be done to improve. For the first time this season the City was put in serious trouble and often the team is gone into confusion making mistakes especially in defense. There have been so many lost balls that have risked to compromise even more an already difficult game in itself. What's more, the defense will have to do without Ring for at least a month, which complicates even more Vieira and his choices in defense.

The city continues to be unbeaten, but there is a lot to work on. The season is long, the goals are within reach of the team that now has to think about the next game to continue the positive result and return to victory.
