New York City FC needs to tweak its roster ahead of next season. One of the areas of the pitch that will need to make an extra effort is certainly the attack. Several names have already been associated with the Pigeons, including that of Thomas Henry.

The French striker plays in Serie A for Verona. However, the Italian club has a revolution in sight, some players will leave the club. Among these could be Henry himself. This year the striker is not having a great season. His performance is not optimal. On the contrary, last year Henry always showed off in Serie A with Venezia. His performances attracted Verona who then bought him, but also other teams including DC United who made an unsuccessful attempt.
According to tuttohellasverona.com, Henry could now really land in MLS with New York City FC interested in him.

Henry is a player who works a lot for the team, always present in the box and very skilled in the air. He manages to give his best with teammates nearby who put him in the best conditions to score. However, he has often shown that he works a lot for the team, especially in times of difficulty. He's not a static striker, he moves a lot and leaves no points of reference.

By characteristics, Henry could very well fit Nick Cushing's style of play.

This season Henry played 15 games scoring two goals.
