NYCFC, Torrent wants three points in the opening home match

After the first match of the season, where they drew against Orlando City, New York City FC is preparing for the opening game at Yankee Stadium against D.C. United.. There is a lot of excitement among the Blues for the season debut in front of their fans, as coach Domenec Torrent confirms in his preview: “It will be very important win the next game, for us and especially for our fans. If will be able to start the season well at Yankee Stadium it will be good. Last season we got ninety per cent of our points in New York. We need to win the first game at Yankee Stadium”.

However, it will not be a simple game against D.C. United as Torrent points out: “They played really well the previous game against Atlanta. It will be a really difficult game for us, just think that they do not lose a game since last August. They are a good team, they play good football and are very compact. We have trained well in this week. We are improving compared to the game against Orlando that was not easy because of the long trip and the warm climate.  Feelings this week are much better than in recent days. We’re fine, the team is ready for the game against D.C. United“.

It will be complicated according to Torrent. But the coach of the City is focusing on Yankee Stadium factor: “We will play at Yankee Stadium, we will have the full and strong support of our wonderful fans. In front of our fans, we want to start the season in the right way, we are sure that thanks to their support we will succeed in obtaining a good result”.

New York City FC is ready for the first season game at Yankee Stadium, where the objective of the Torrent’s team will be to get the three points for themselves and more importantly the fans.
