NYCFC faces difficult but not impossible mission

New York City FC is ready to play for its season in Atlanta. It starts after the 0-1 of the game at Yankee Stadium, a result that hinders the Blues but at the same time is inescapable. Nothing is lost, the City can break Atlanta. New York showed this during the season, scoring 2 goals at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Those goals that brought the signature of David Villa and Alex Ring. The match ended in a draw, but that match showed that, as strong as Atlanta is, a win for New York is still possible.

It’s not enough to just score.  What will count will be to win. With the 0-1 you go to extra time, while with a victory of 2-1 you go forward safely. New York City will have to play with this mentality, score, be careful not to concede goals and win. It will not be easy as Atlanta is unbeaten at home for 10 games, but this is like a final. It is not possible to make any predictions. We only know that Atlanta starts with the advantage of the goal scored at Yankee Stadium and that New York City will have to do everything to overturn that result.

Dome Torrent can count on the whole team available (only Cedric Hountondji is out). New York will have to play and leave the field without any regrets. The mission is difficult, but not impossible.  New York City is trying to keep their season alive.
