Torrent without six players against Vancouver

It won't be an easy game for New York City FC against Vancouver Whitecaps. The opponent of New York is not to be underestimated, as we highlighted in this article, but Dome Torrent will also have to deal with various absences. There are several unavailable players for a game that New York City FC must absolutely win. We were saying that it will not be at all easy for New York to win against Vancouver which, at home, are proving to be an unbeatable team. For the Blues will be even more complicated, since missing six players.

Ismael Tajouri-Shradi, Joe Scally, Ebenezer Ofori, Joe Scally and James Sands are out for the matchup with their own respective injuries. The Lybian wing continues progressing from his ankle injury. Instead Ofori is nursing a knee injury. Sands remains out with a broken collarbone and Scally continues his road to recovery after having hip surgery earlier this season.

To the injured players, we also add the two suspended players. Alex Ring and Ronald Matarrita won't be against Vancouver. The captain is suspended for yellow card accumulation and Matarrita is suspended after receiving a red card towards the end of the derby against Red Bulls.

These in detail the absences for New York City FC:

INJURED:

James Sands
Ebenezer Ofori
Joe Scally
Ismael Tajouri-Shradi

SUSPENDED:

Alex Ring
Ronald Matarrita
