This was Dome Torrent's reaction after the defeat against Toronto FC: "This was a bad night, because they deserved to win the game. We had two chances in the first half and in the second half, but in the end they played much better than us. It's my fault because I didn't read the game. The players tried to play with intensity but it was not easy to play. We made mistakes in different circumstances, but it's my fault. I'm not looking for excuses, if I say what I think about the national teams I'm wrong, we've lost players but I'm not looking for excuses. I made mistakes as a coach, I probably didn't convince my players, I didn't read the game and sometimes it happens. Now let's look at the next game and try to win. We have three points, if we want to go to the playoffs we have to do more.
I think that in the second half we started playing well, but after the penalty the game is finished. It was not easy for several players to play, but I don't want excuses. I have to try to improve for the next game. When players return to the national teams it is always difficult, but I am not looking for excuses, it was my fault. We must return to play as we know, holding the ball and creating chances otherwise it is impossible to win the games. We need to be more clinical, we need to create more opportunities. I congratulate Toronto, we will try to play better against them next time".
