The MLS begins: New York City FC wants to get a great start

Ronny Deila wants to start the new season of MLS well. After his successful debut in the Concacaf Champions League, the New York City FC coach wants the team to start the MLS well too. Many liked the debut of the City and also Deila himself. The City coach appreciated the good attitude and good application of the team who followed all his ideas. Clearly though, the team still has a lot of work to do and improve. Not everything was perfect in the two Champions League games. A few goals scored could have been avoided, and the return game could have been handled better. New York has created many chances to score goals without being able to concretize. An aspect on which the team must improve. Well, the defense that has almost never suffered opponents. But if you waste so many scoring chances, the game can be compromised immediately. New York City FC gave the impression of not having had full control of the match. Clearly, Deila will have to work on this and since the game against Columbus Crew. The next Blues opponents will not want to make a bad impression at the first game of the season at home.
