We do not know when the COVID-19 pandemic will end, which has now also arrived in the US. Clearly we hope as soon as possible, but health is the first thing to be safeguarded. First of all then health, then soccer will also return as before. So we hope, so hope all the fans who have seen the new MLS season end in the bud. At the moment the stop is 30 days, but the fear is that it may last even longer. But soccer cannot resume immediately after the quarantine period ends. The teams are not training, the players are training on their own and, we always hope as soon as possible, when we return to normal, each team will have to recover a good physical condition. The same goes for New York City FC. It will not be easy for the City to resume normal activities and recover immediately. An aspect that risks complicating a season that is now firm but badly born for the Blues. The first victories in the Concacaf Champions League bode well, but then there were three defeats in a row, two in MLS in two games played. The start of MLS has been disastrous but also unfortunate. New York City FC didn't deserve to lose these games, but soccer is always unpredictable. Now there is this forced stop, but at the start, the Blues will have to work hard to recover a situation, on a sports level, very dark.
