Lalas without doubts: NYCFC will win the MLS Cup

No doubts for Alexi Lalas. New York City FC will win the MLS Cup. This is the predicition of Lalas about the playoffs. 

For the first knockout rounds, Lalas expects all home teams to advance to the conference semifinals. A bit bold, but believable. New York City FC wins against Toronto, while Atlanta United manages to beat Philadelphia Union. In the west, LAFC beat Minnesota United while the Seattle Sounders edge out FC Dallas.

Lalas therefore predicts that LAFC will advance towards the final in a close encounter with the Sounders, while New York City slides over Atlanta becoming a final of the MLS Cup LAFC-v-NYC.

Despite the LAFC being the favorite and the presenter of the cup final, Lalas feels that he will eventually win Domé Torrent's NYCFC by giving the Blues their first MLS Cup.
