According to a report from Diaro AS in Spain, another Peruvian could join center back Alexander Callens as a member of New York City FC next season.

With uncertainty surrounding the future of Alianza Lima manager Pablo Bengoechea, the club have offered 21-year-old attacker Kevin Quevedo to NYCFC, according to the report, relayed here by Peruvian daily La Republica. However, there are contractual obstacles to a potential move as well as previous discipline issues.

While Quevedo has played 30 league matches for Alianza this season, he has also clashed with Bengoechea, who has at times omitted the youngster from his squad as a behavioral consequence.

Quevedo was also linked with the Cityzens earlier this fall in a report from Peruvian newspaper Libero.

In New York, Quevedo would join fellow countryman Callens among a sizable South American contingent that also includes Venezuelan Yangel Herrera and Argentine Maxi Moralez.
